Hello Again! I'm really happy that I've made it a point to blog more frequently.  I was so excited after reviewing the pictures of this look I put together starting with a velvet skirt that I wore as a traditional bridesmaid in my friend's Edo wedding ceremony this past summer.  Benin people have especially beautiful and vibrant wedding traditions and I love the use of velvet fabrics in their ceremonies....except the fact that they almost always take place in the summer!  Sparkly velvet in the heat is dazzling but not comfortable, lol.  Anywho, I've decided not to let this gorgeous velvet skirt die after the wedding, so the journey of this bridesmaid dress will go on...
